Jane Weir is a high-performing executive with over two decades of proven leadership in transformation project including complex acquisition and divestment, and culture evolution across financial services, insurance, infrastructure, and public sectors. Known for her calm, confident leadership and deep expertise in organisational design and business agility, Jane has successfully led workforce transitions for major acquisitions and divestments—including the strategic sell-off of Westpac's Pacific operations and the commercial activation of outsourced claims management at icare. She combines deep emotional intelligence with a sharp commercial lens to deliver people-centred, high-impact change at pace and scale.
Jane’s unique value lies in her ability to unify business goals with workforce capabilities, steering enterprise-wide transformation through evidence-based insights, operating model design that amplifies business performance, and targeted leadership development. Her consulting and in-house leadership roles have seen her guide C-Suite and Boards through cultural evolution, reward and performance reform, and structural redesign—always with a focus on trust, sustainability, and measurable results. Whether leading cross-functional squads or navigating complex regulatory environments, Jane consistently delivers superior outcomes in high-stakes acquisition environments by aligning people, culture, and strategy.
Jane has lived experience in complex business transformation project environments and easily adapts between hands on delivery and strategic advisory based on the needs of the project in the moment. Human centred design comes naturally and is palpable in her everyday approach to problem solving. Jane creates deep psychological safety for leaders to grow, and in turn provide the environment where their teams flourish.
She pursues personal growth on a daily basis and has deepened her formal education with a variety of industry certifications including Emotional Intelligence, Workplace Culture, and Agile. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy, Grad Dip Safety Science, Grad Dip Ergonomics, Certificate of Coaching Psychology, and is a Graduate Australian Institute of Company Directors.
