Luke Fleming is a seasoned executive and human resources leader with over two decades of experience across the business events and hospitality sectors in Australia, the United States, and Asia. As the Chief People Officer at ICC Sydney, Luke brings strategic insight and operational excellence to workforce planning and design, organisational development, and executive leadership.
He is a qualified company director (AICD) and holds a Master of Strategic Human Resource Management, among other credentials. An active speaker across multiple disciplines and topics in business, he has a long history of presenting at conferences and events. In 2023, Luke was recognised by Human Resource Director Magazine as the Australian Human Resource Manager and has featured on Human Resource Directors hotlist for multiple years.
Luke is known for leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams and fostering cultures of high performance, safety, wellbeing, and inclusion. His board experience spans sport and corporate governance, including roles with Hockey NSW, Sydney East Hockey Association, Glebe Rowing Club, and ICC Sydney. Luke is a role model for work life balance, being a lifelong contributor to field hockey where he has coached, managed, and selected at both local and state levels, demonstrating deep commitment to athlete development in high performance and community sport environments.
