Nick Farhan is Director – People, Culture & Talent at Infrastructure Australia, where he leads the organisation’s people strategy, workforce capability, talent, performance and organisational development agenda, aligning culture and capability with national infrastructure priorities.
With over 14 years’ experience across public and private sector environments, Nick is known for delivering pragmatic, commercially grounded people outcomes in complex, high-accountability settings. At Infrastructure Australia, he has led integrated workforce planning, leadership capability uplift, AI-enabled HR innovation and culture initiatives designed to strengthen engagement, retention and performance within a specialist policy agency.
Nick is particularly focused on translating emerging technologies into practical workforce strategies that balance productivity gains with employee wellbeing, trust and public sector integrity. Prior to joining Infrastructure Australia, he held senior human resources and talent leadership roles within the NSW Government and Commonwealth Bank, leading large-scale recruitment, workforce transformation and organisational change initiatives.
